Double-Sided LED Screens Perth
One screen, seen from both directions
A double-sided LED screen has two display faces back to back, so people see it from both directions. Pinnacle LED supplies, installs and supports double-sided LED screens in Perth and across Western Australia.
Each face can run its own content, from one fixing point.

What is a double-sided LED screen?
Two faces, one unit.
A double-sided LED screen is two LED display faces mounted back to back in one unit. It hangs, stands or sits in a window like a single screen, but people see a display from both directions.
Different content on each side: each face runs independently. Mirror one campaign, or run a street offer on one face and a store promotion on the other. Both faces are scheduled through our content management system (CMS), and we train your team at handover.
Double-sided LED or LCD? LED is brighter and does not block the window, which matters in shopfronts and glass-fronted lobbies. LCD can be better value in a controlled indoor space with no direct sun. Our comparison of LED and LCD works through the trade-offs.
Where Perth businesses use double-sided LED
Double-sided screens work anywhere people walk past from both sides.
Retail shopfronts and windows: catch people on the footpath and inside the store. See retail and hospitality.
Shopping centre walkways and atriums: tenant advertising and wayfinding for shoppers walking either way.
Airports and transport hubs: travel information and advertising in two-way concourses and duty free stores.
Hotels, bars and venues: promotions and event content above bars and entries. See sports and entertainment.
Corporate foyers: brand and internal messaging in lobbies and atriums. See corporate and commercial.
Every installation is backed by our local Perth team and a 99.9% support resolution rate.
How do you choose the right double-sided screen?
Two things decide it: how far away people will be, and how much sun hits the screen.
Pixel pitch is the distance in millimetres between the centres of neighbouring LEDs. The further away your viewers, the larger the pitch can be. If most people see it from more than 6 to 7 m away, a 2.5 mm pixel pitch is fine.
Brightness is measured in nits, where one nit is one candela per square metre. Brightness and clarity trade off against each other, so we balance the two for each site. For a window-facing screen, we'd specify:
No direct sun on the window during the day: around 3,000 nits
Direct sun on the window: up to 7,000 nits
Our guides to pixel pitch and LED brightness go into more detail.
Built for Perth conditions
In Perth, the window is the hard part, because afternoon sun can wash out a screen. West-facing shopfronts take hard afternoon sun most of the year. We check how much sun hits the glass and when, then set brightness to suit.
Our double-sided screens are built for indoor and window-facing installs, not outdoor exposure. For fully exposed sites, an outdoor LED display is the right product. Need a long, narrow display instead? See our LED ticker displays.

Double-Sided LED Perth FAQs

It depends on size, pixel pitch, brightness and where it’s installed, so we quote each project. We quote against a written specification, and the onsite evaluation is free.
-
Yes. Each face runs independently, so you can mirror one campaign or run different content on each side. Both are scheduled through the CMS.

It depends on how far away people will be. If most will see it from more than 6 to 7 m away, a 2.5 mm pixel pitch is fine. Closer viewing needs a finer pitch.

Around 3,000 nits if the window gets no direct sun during the day. If it takes direct sun, we’d look at up to 7,000 nits. We check the window’s sun before we specify.
-
No. Our double-sided screens are for indoor and window-facing installs. For fully exposed locations, an outdoor LED display is the right product.
